On May 11, the Zhangjiakou Court heard the case of Wang Bao An, former Director of the National Statistics Bureau of China, accepting bribes.

According to People’s Daily, from 1994 to 2016, Vuong Bao An took advantage of positions such as Secretary of the Office of the National Tax Department, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Finance, Director of National Statistics…

Vuong Bao An deserves criminal responsibility for accepting bribes.

An was born in 1963 and holds a PhD in Economics.

The arrest of Wang Bao’an, according to the Chinese press, which currently holds the record for `speed`, took place like in a counterintelligence movie.

Tan Kinh Bao said that on the afternoon of January 26, he still chaired the press conference as Secretary and Director of the National Statistics Department.

The March 2016 issue of Tranh Minh magazine said that the main reason An was arrested right after the meeting was because he knew the Central Committee of the Central Committee was about to take action, so he secretly drew up a diversionary plan to flee the country.

The news said that as early as November 2015, the Central Committee for Investigation discovered clues about An’s crime.

At that time, An cried and expressed that she `very appreciated the opportunity` that the Central Committee for Auditing had given her, but in reality, An secretly planned to run away with her lover.

On the other hand, An told his private driver to take him to the airport to see a former colleague off to Europe for a survey. Because it was a private matter, he did not need a secretary to accompany him.

Because he knew in advance of An’s escape plan, after he finished the press conference and returned to the break room to get his jacket and security briefcase, a Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee for Inspection and two special police officers were waiting with him.

A search of An’s briefcase found two official passports with the names Hoang Quoc An and Dinh Nghi, and two pairs of VIP tickets from Beijing to Paris at 7:00 p.m. and from Beijing to Frankfurt at 9:00 p.m.

In August 2016, Vuong Bao An was expelled from the party and dismissed from office.

After Vuong Bao An fell from his horse, his two younger brothers were Vuong Hong Canh, Standing Member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Mayor of Tieu Tac City, Ha Nam and Vuong Hong Hy, Secretary of Tram Ha District Party Committee, Binh City.
